CONQUER THE USE OF SINGLE USE PLASTIC

As the global pandemic continues to rage on and so does our state of what seems like a perpetual lockdown the one thing that we all miss everyday the most of course is the inability to get help from our domestic helpers and workers. And while cleaning the house can be a periodic activity which can be done occasionally, cleaning vessels simply cannot be ignored. This in particular is an activity that needs to be accomplished daily if one has to maintain any decent standards of acceptable hygiene.

However, cleaning vessels, especially if you are a large family or then a family were someone is unwell is a task easier said than done. What we don’t seem to realise until we get actually get down to cleaning them is just how many plates, spoons, forks, vessels and the likes we tend to sully just in the space of a day. Not to mention glasses, cups, bowls and other such utensils as well.

What is the solution you ask? For the duration of the lockdown, one could consider doing away with plates and using disposables instead. When we ask you to use disposables we are not referring to single use plastic products. There are better and cheaper alternatives which ensure that we never have to deal with plastic ever again as far as tableware is concerned.
